Willie Molano is a retired Colombian professional soccer player with an illustrious career spanning multiple leagues, including the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). Known for his exceptional skills and strategic gameplay, Willie made a significant impact on every team he played for during his career.

After an outstanding collegiate career at Foothill College, where he earned First Team NJCAA All American honors in 1981, Willie was selected in the second round of the Major Indoor Soccer League draft by the Los Angeles Lazers. His professional journey took him to several teams, including the Dallas Sidekicks, Tacoma Stars, Milwaukee Wave, Dallas Rockets, Texas Lightning, and the Houston Hotshots. Throughout his career, Willie was recognized for his consistent performance and ability to elevate the game.

In 1996, Willie transitioned from player to coach and mentor by founding the DFW Tejanos Soccer Club, where he dedicated himself to developing young talent in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His commitment to youth soccer continued with the merger of DFW Tejanos Soccer Club with the Dallas Texans Soccer Club in 2014, further solidifying his legacy in the sport.

Willie's deep understanding of the game and his passion for soccer have shaped his approach to coaching, where he emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. His experience as a professional player and his dedication to nurturing young athletes make him a respected figure in the soccer community.
